Welcome! In case you didn't know, I used to blog for a living at 20something Saver. While I'm still a 20something Saver, I no longer have the time to keep up with time sensitive deals. Read on to learn more about Nathan's and my journey here in our new home-- Arlington, Virginia!
Well, we've officially been on our own for a full week. It's definitely more fun than I ever imagined. I love being on our own and all the beautiful flowers here. I also love cooking dinner and our new church!
Nathan's favorites: independence, all the history that's here, and the fun places to walk the dogs.
... I thought he could come up with something better, but I guess not!
Today was a pretty lame day-- We woke up (late), rushed to church, and walked around the White House area for a bit (Note picture above). We took the metro back, hoofed it back to our apartment, and I watched a scary movie while I got work stuff organized for the week. Nathan? He has been playing video games all afternoon/evening!
We had leftover lasagna for dinner (Why yes, it was 102 degrees on Friday and I made lasagna) with corn (trying to get those veggies in) on our super fancy table. Yep, the table pad doesn't arrive for almost a month..awesome.
Tomorrow after work I am going to attempt these breakfast sandwiches I saw on Pinterest. If you're not already, you should definitely follow me on Pinterest!
I can't wait to let you know how they turn out!
